André Beato Is A Portuguese Graphic Designer & Illustrator, Born In Lisbon And Currently Living In London, Working As A Freelancer. His Website Or Actually A Refreshed Website Now Features Some Amazingly Worth Seeing Typography.

Beato Took A BA In Graphic Design And A MA In Design Visual Culture -Visual Production At IADE (Instituto De Artes Visuais Design E Marketing) In Lisbon. His Work Is Mostly Vector Based Graphics And Illustrated Typography. He Has Been Working In The Various Creative Fields Of Graphic, Print And Editorial, Collaborating With Clients From Various Industries Such As Record Labels, Magazines Clothing Companies, Advertising And Others. He Works Mostly With Vector Based Graphics And Is Responsible For Extensive Projects Developing Corporate Identities Through The Use Of Illustrated Typography. Beato Operates In A Variety Of Creative Fields, Including Graphic, Print, And Editorial, Collaborating With Clients From Artistic And Entertainment Industries, Such As Record Labels, Magazines, Clothing Companies, Advertising Agencies, And More.

Typography Is, Basically, The Art And Technique Of Arranging Type. It’s Vital To The Work And Skills Of A Designer And Is About Much More Than Making The Words Readable. Good Typography Is Partly Down To Ingenious Instinct, But It’s Impossible To Become Skilled In Typography Without Understanding The Basic Rules Of The Craft – Even If You Mean To Break Them.
